August Updates!

Here are some current updates regarding club charter process, upcoming events, & details:

Additionally, we have opened something called "Prime Volunteers". These volunteers will get first priority in volunteering for our events through their strong attendance records & active participation.

Our events for the month of August include:

1. She Can Play Basketball Book: Currently, we have hired a Book Illustrator to create illustrations for our book, you can find more details about her on the "Our Team" part of our website. We have also concluded all of our interviews with Basketball Olympic Athletes/D1 Athletes. While creating progress on the book, we hope to complete this first book by November!

2. EHS Girls4Sports Booth: Emerald Grand Opening Celebration: At the opening Emerald High School Aero Launch Grand Opening Celebration, there will be a club's showcase. Emerald Girls4Sports will be apart of this showcase, so make sure to look out for out booth! We will be opening volunteer sign ups for this event, to manage and work at our booth! If you are interested, please check out the "Events" section of our website.

3. Sports Donation Drive: We will be having our first Sports Donation Drive (either mid-August or start of September)! More details to follow soon! Keep an eye out for donation boxes at all the DUSD schools!

Club Charter Information:

Currently, we have complete the Club Charter form at EHS. More details will come out from the Student Council soon! The Executive Team is currently looking for a Club Advisor.

If you applied to be a member, you should be receiving an email within the first or second week of school!
